Islantilla
Golf is situated 60 km from Faro´s airport in Portugal and 120 km
from the beautiful Seville and no to far from the amazing world famous Donana National Park,
biosphere reserve.
It was Open in
1992, and is one of the best courses in Europe. Some years
ago, it
hosted the PGA European Tour Turespaņa Masters which was won by the
golfer Alex Cejeica. It has hosted various Challenge Tour Events
as the PGA de Espaņa. Golf Digest (The American magazine),
rated it in the top 100 courses in Europe.
The golf course, designed by Enrique Canales, is suitable for all
handicaps, the 27 hole course is set
along pine trees forests and the sea, all mix with
stunning views
The club house is located on a privileged position, just on
top of a hill, which allow all visitors enjoy spectacular views over
the golf course and the blue sea.
